SANTA CRUZ, CA, USA-SEPTEMBER 20, 2004 - Universal Audio, a manufacturer of high-quality vintage audio hardware and DSP software plug-ins for digital audio workstations, appointed Erica McDaniel Director of Sales. In addition, Sophia Wardlaw has been promoted to the position of Sales Manager.

Ms. McDaniel, who first joined Universal Audio in late 1999 when the company was still located in founder Bill Putnam Jr.'s garage, performed a wide variety of tasks prior to being appointed Sales Manager in 2002. Since the company's inception, Ms. McDaniel has been the main point of contact for UA's rapidly expanding sales channel. Ms. McDaniel's duties include forecasting, budgeting, trade show management and reporting.

" To say that Universal Audio is blessed to have these two women working for us would be an understatement !" UA president Matt Ward said. "Our dealers and distributors are always telling us that we are their favorite company to deal with and Erica and Sophia are big reasons why."
