UA Releases Third "Apollo Creators" Episode featuring Jim-E Stack

Famed co-producer for Bon Iver, Charli XCX and Lorde opens up about his human approach to making music using Apollo interfaces and UAD plug-ins

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – October 7, 2025 – Universal Audio Inc. (UA), a leader in audio production tools, is proud to release the third episode in its Apollo Creators video series, this time spotlighting producer, musician, and songwriter Jim-E Stack. 

From his early fascination with imperfect samples to shaping spacious, vocal-driven textures, Jim-E Stack is building a fast-growing music profile on authenticity. Fresh off of collaborations with Bon Iver, Lorde, Haim, and Charli XCX, Stack goes beyond the gear in this episode of Apollo Creators, sharing how letting go of expectations and creating with friends allows music to naturally unfold.

At the heart of Jim-E's workflow are Apollo audio interfaces and UAD plug-ins, which he calls his "coveted" tools since first getting an Apollo Twin in 2016. 

“The Apollo Twin was the item I brought to every session, whether in Wisconsin with Bon Iver, in LA with Dominic Fike, or anywhere else," confirms Stack.
