I already had the Neve and SSL plugins, and I wanted to complete my collection of classic preamp and EQ emulations.
Man, this API plugin really shines. I use the real analog API module when recording drums and percussion, and I'm amazed at how accurately the plugin captures the same tone, punch, and dynamic response.
I absolutely love it. It's now my go-to on almost every percussion recording, and it makes a huge difference.
Thank you, UAD, for such an amazing product. You’ve made it possible for my mobile setup away from the studio to sound as good as working with the real hardware

Unfortunately, due to my error, I bought it a second time. For sure its my fault, but you shouldn't be able to pay for the same thing twice. That's the second time that's happened to me (cuz I'm a idiot). A box should come up that says dude you already have that. Thanks for listening

This plug-in is great, Great EQ, Great compression and noise gate as well. The tool to get to handle those pesky vocal or horn mixes. Lets' have a stereo one!
