Luna Pro is my best software purchase ever!!! This system has completely changed my approach and understanding of mixing in a digital environment. My recording and mixing has become a true creative process and I have completely stopped thinking about processing chains and started thinking about the colors I can add to convey the mood and emotion that I am guided by in my work. My sessions no longer feel incomplete and with the APi clipping my recordings sound as full as my favorite albums! 2500 bus compressor is great for any source, and its character and behavior are often the first thing I try to apply to a source. 550 is what sees my signal on the bus last before the main bus, and it's what makes the final adjustments, adding weight or airiness where needed, or brightness to highlight the instrument.

The collaboration of the different parts to make a cohesive perfectly blended sound of every instrument and vocal that passes through it proves the the channel strip is still the highest level of sonic quality out there and to couple that with the API. Being built into UAD’s LUNA is a game changer. And to have to integration not affect the dsp is Mind blowing. I love it. Even though it’s a learning curve for me. And, I welcome the invaluable growth.

One of my go-to pieces for almost every mix. I just wish UA would drop more emulations( like Neve or SSL consoles)
