I’ve been unable to use this product. After purchasing it, the directions seem to indicate it requires an Apollo interface, and my Mac doesn’t recognize it, even though I have other UA products I use regularly. What’s the deal?

There are several mic emulator plugins out there. But this is the one by which all others will be measured. The Rolls Royce of mic emulators & in my opinion, the premier choice because Universal Audio go the extra mile to deliver 'A' class products across their entire range. The visual aspect is no less superlative. Universal Audio - The Professional's choice.

seria bueno que funcione con cualquier mic , como un plugin mas de emulación como cualquier otro que con la tecnología unison nos permita utilizarlos con cualquier mic conectado a los preamp de apollo etc etc

I have client who have sphere mics. So to mix at my place we needed this plugin. Having used it at clients studios it was a really great and intuitive thing. It is much more subtle than any eq and much more complex. I use it to go through models and use the filters. I have to admit to using less eq on vocals now and getting smoother results. A necessity if you have a sphere but useful if you don’t.
