    Wasted So Much Money

I’ve been using UA plug-ins for ads long as VST plug-ins have existed. I can’t recall any I’d considered bad. I still spent bucketloads of cash on so many other brands that I’ll probably never use. Like everyone, I get caught up in the hype and hope of whatever surfaces as a must-have of the day. If I had to, though, and stripped my plug-in folder back to reality, and worth keeping this would be within my TOP40, WITHOUT DOUBT. Not only because it’s sonically excellent, but the presets have saved me so much time. Somebody did a fine job with the presets, and that’s worth more than money when it’s time to record. Good job, thank you.

Perfect tracking solution for metal guitarists!

Great sound, versatile, very close to the actual amp head tone as well. Don't be afraid to tweak the settings, there's a lot of complaints I've heard that could be resolved with this plugin by just diving into the manual. Well done guys!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, you’ll need an Apollo audio interface, UAD-2 Satellite, or UAD-2 PCIe card to run these plug-ins, using the onboard DSP. The plug-ins run on the hardware itself, without adding strain to your computer’s CPU. In an Apollo, onboard DSP processing allows you to run realtime UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency, and even record that processing directly to your DAW.
Yes, you can start a fully functional 14-day demo from any plug-in bundled with the UAD software. Simply click “Start Demo”, and start using it in your DAW.
UAD-2 licenses follow the hardware, it does not matter which computer they are connected to. You can have up to six UAD-2 devices registered to a system in your Universal Audio account, which share those licenses. See UAD-2 Plug-In Licensing Explained for full details. Authorization of UAD-2 hardware is managed by the UAD Meter & Control Panel Application.
